Parking at the Heraklion Airport

There are options for both long-term and short-term parking at the Heraklion airport.

Short-term parking is free of charge. This is where you should park if you are picking up or dropping someone off as cars are not allowed to stop by the curb of the terminal. However, the short-term parking is just a short walk to and from the terminal so you should have no problem fetching or dropping off your traveler!

Long-term parking spots are available at surrounding car lots. Pricing is competitive at around 29 Euro for a week-long stay which can be paid for in cash or by card. Travelers say that the parking lots are safe, easily accessible to and from the airport, and the staff is friendly and professional.

Spots at long-term parking might be limited because most travelers on the island of Crete get to the airport via public transportation. There is a regular bus service from the Heraklion city center that will take you directly to the airport.
